Calm by default
Software should lower the temperature of a project, not raise it. We remove notifications before we add them, and every screen has to earn its place.
About Talora
We spent a decade running design studios and agencies. Talora is the workspace we wished we had on every one of those projects.
Inês and Daniel met in 2016 at a branding studio in Porto. Inês ran client relationships, Daniel ran everything technical, and both of them lost a little piece of every week to the same problem: work lived in one tool, feedback in another, invoices in a third and the real status of a project lived only in somebody's head.
By 2022 they were running their own studio of twelve people and stitching together seven apps to keep clients informed. The spreadsheet that held it all together was called final_v7. That was the moment they decided to build something better.
Talora launched in Lisbon in 2023 with a simple idea. Give studios one calm place for clients, projects, approvals and payments, and give their clients a portal that feels as considered as the work itself. Today it is used by more than 2,400 studios in 38 countries.

"We wanted clients to feel looked after, and studios to feel less stretched. Everything we build still comes back to those two feelings."
Four ideas guide how we build Talora, who we hire and which features we say no to.
01
Software should lower the temperature of a project, not raise it. We remove notifications before we add them, and every screen has to earn its place.
02
Half of the people using Talora never pay us. We design the client portal with the same care as the studio side, because that is where trust is built.
03
We release something useful almost every week, talk to customers every day and keep the changelog honest about what is new and what we fixed.
04
Your client list and your invoices are your livelihood. We treat security, privacy and uptime as product features, not as fine print.
